MS “Munsterland” back in service

On the 18th of December 2020, MS “Münsterland” arrived at the yard of Koninklijke Niestern Sander BV in Farmsum near Delfzijl. Now, after about 16 months, the ferry is back in the timetable to and from Borkum. The yard previously won the European tender for the second project of AG “EMS” from Emden for the conversion of a conventionally powered ferry into an LNG powered vessel.

We congratulate Royal Niestern Sander on the completion of this challenging project.

We are proud that we have been able to contribute to this challenge, with providing the naval architecture for the converted vessel and construction engineering of the new built part.
